Nut Chocolate Chip Cake
Cut up 1 cup dates and add 1 cup boiling
water – set aside to cool.
2 sticks butter
1 Cup Sugar
Cream together.
Add 2 Eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Stir in cooled dates with the water.
Mix together:
1 ¾ cup flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Tbl. Cocoa or 1 Tbl. or Choc, Syrup.
¾ cup Choc. Chips.
Add to creamed ingredients and mix well.
Pour in greased floured pan.
Sprinkle ¼ cup Choc. Chips and ½ cup nuts on top.
Bake 40 mins at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean.

Nutritional Chocolate Chip
Cookies.
1 Stick butter softened.
½ cup raw unfiltered coconut oil (Sprouts) or another stick of
butter.
1 Cup Sucanat (Sugar Cane Natural) sold at Albertsons, Sprouts,
Henry’s.
1 Tbl. Ground Flaxseed.
1 Egg.
1 Tbl. Real Vanilla
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
¾ Tsp. Sea Salt
½ Cup unbleached Flour
½ Cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
1 ¼ Cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 ¼ C. ground (raw or blanched) almonds
2 Cups Choc. Chips.
Cream Butter, Coc. Oil and sugar
then add rest of wet ingredients.
Mix well. Add dry ingredients (except) Choc.
Chips. Mix well.
Stir in Choc. Chips.
Scoop with a small spoon or melon ball scoop.
Bake 375 degrees for 10 – 13 mins. |
